Supernova is an alcoholic lemonade company that offer out-of-this-world flavors with fun packaging and theming. Available in three exciting flavors: Black Hole Berry, Deep Space Dragon fruit, and Shooting Starfruit.
The Draken
A horrifying tentacle monster from the deepest corners of the galaxy. Eyes all around its body to keep vigilant of surprise attacks and an ever growing number of tentacles to attack at a moments notice. Drakens are known to occasionally lose some of these limbs, which are not only edible but also very sweet.
The Vortex Crawler
Gigantic crab-like monsters that are known to appear spontaneously through portals. It is not known if these portals are caused by Vortex Crawlers, but they are always found in them. Vortex Crawlers are known to attack space ships, few have ever escaped. They defend themselves by spitting a rather tart acid at its enemies. This acid can quickly melt most types of spacecrafts, but is harmless, and rather delicious, to living creatures
The Stella Gigantus
A gentle giant. Stella Gigantus are passive explorers of the vast universe. They are known to jump in and out of lightspeed, getting to places that are out of reach to human explorers. Legends say that early explorers learned space travel from these creatures. They expell a bright orange liquid as they travel, making them look like shooting stars in the night sky. This liquid is often used as a safe alternative to rocket fuel, and is also safe for human consumption. It has been described to have a sweet and sour flavor that is very refreshing.

Logo Exploration
These are previous versions of the label throughout the designing process. One of the biggest challenges was the hierarchy and balance between the brand logo and the flavor name. A lot of the time, one typeface was taking attention from the other, and on a few instances, it interfered with the illustration
Illustration Changes
The illustrations also went through considerable changes throughout. The illustration for Black Hole Berry was originally going to emphasize the black hole, but became a problem since the other two cans were more focused on the space creatures. The Vortex Crawler was designed to bring the other two creatures together and to complete the system of fruit and sea creature hybrids. The Vortex Crawler is based off of a hermit crab, with a blackberry making up its shell. The Draken is a Dragon Fruit and Kraken hybrid while the Stella Gigantus is a Starfish Starfruit hybrid.
